How we rank (and what we refuse to rank)
PvP rank cares about weight, damage, ailments, grab, wing shredder, and whether the species can leave a bad fight. Survival rank cares about appetite, diet flexibility, hitbox, and whether a juvenile can eat without crossing a KoS field. A photovore that prints Shooms can be S for money and C for a fight. Korathos can be S for a bruiser night and a trap for a new account that cannot feed a huge carnivore.
We will not paste a 200-name SS table copied from a blog that has not been in a server since recode. Names below are the ones that keep showing up in 2025–2026 community PvP writeups and in player arguments: Korathos, Nolumoth, Kavouradis, Oxytalis, plus older warden and flier mains that still appear in Trade Realm ads. If a weekly remodel lands, check updates before you treat last month’s S as law.

Beginner tier list — species that teach sniff and satiation without requiring a 15,000 HP brick or an invisibility kit.
