How to Get Shooms in Creatures of Sonaria

Mush, shrooms, and the five-per-two-minutes clock that funds every gacha.

How to Get Shooms

Shooms (also called mushrooms, shrooms, or mush) are the permanent currency of Creatures of Sonaria. They buy rotation-store species, gacha spins, trial creatures, and the plushies that make growth and mutations less miserable. Chat prices look like 12k m. If you cannot farm Shooms, you will accept every bad Trade Realm offer. This page is the farm. Codes sometimes drop cosmetics instead of currency; check the codes hub but do not wait for a mush code that may never return.

The alive tick

While your creature lives, the game pays five Shooms every two minutes. That is 150 per hour if you never die. It is the reason photovore AFK exists and the reason a KoS death is a currency death. Appetite is the hidden stat: one point is about thirty seconds of fasting, so a 60-appetite body can sit for half an hour. Photovores that only need water (and light) can sit longer if the pocket is safe.

Good AFK bodies are aquatic herbivores or omnivores that do not need to beach for a drink, or photovores parked under cover so meteors and tornadoes miss. Community routes mention deep-ocean grass pockets and high-appetite trials that cost almost nothing to replace. Earthquakes and disasters still end sessions; read how to survive before you leave a machine running overnight.

Roblox will kick idle clients. An auto-clicker on the eat prompt is a ToS risk and still fails if the creature drowns. Prefer a diet that does not need a click every five seconds.

Regional missions

Enter a biome and a list of six small jobs appears: drink, eat, sniff, survive a timer. Clear the set for a burst (commonly cited around 24 Shooms) and move to the next region. The list repeats. A small fast species that can cross biomes without becoming a billboard outperforms a huge tank that takes four minutes to turn. This is active play, not AFK, and it stacks on top of the alive tick if you do not die between regions.

Do not run missions through a KoS field for the last sniff. The tick you lose on death is worth more than the last checkbox.

Trading, hype, and tokens

The fastest skilled farm is Trade Realm: buy a weekly low, sell the hype, recycle event creatures after the season. It requires ten species and a stomach for crash days. Death-token and mission-token grinds show up in long-form videos: finish regional loops on a mobile species, convert tokens, sell the tokens. Mutation and trait grinding is only a mush method if you can sell the finished slot for more than the plushies and time cost. Skin commissions are a niche.

Daily login tokens on alt accounts are a method people describe and Roblox may not love. This wiki will not build a guide around a farm of twenty empty accounts. One main that stays alive is enough to beat most Robux packs on a per-hour basis.

Robux and why it looks faster than it is

The shop sells Shoom bundles. Small packs convert poorly against an hour of not dying. Buy a bundle only if you already know the species you will purchase and you would rather skip a week of AFK. Never buy Shooms to feed a gacha you have not researched on the creatures hub or the beginner tier list.

A session plan that actually banks

  1. Spawn a high-appetite or photovore body from starter creatures.
  2. Eat to satiation, hide scent, park or start a mission loop.
  3. After an hour, store the creature and decide a spend: rotation store, Aerix, or a Trade Realm buy.
  4. If an event is live, Summer Paradise event currency may be the better hourly than raw Shooms.
  5. If you die, do not immediately swipe Robux. Change region or species.

Shooms are a survival score with a shop attached. The players who look rich in Trade Realm are often just the players who stopped dying for free. Keep the tick running, keep the diet checklist honest, and let the gift box on the codes page be a bonus rather than a plan.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers players ask after a wipe, a death, or a new event.

How many Shooms do you get for staying alive?

Five every two minutes, about 150 per hour, if the creature never dies.

What is the best AFK Shoom creature?

A high-appetite photovore or aquatic herbivore or omnivore in a covered pocket. Exact names rotate with trials and remodels.

Is buying Shooms with Robux worth it?

Only for a planned purchase. An hour of staying alive often matches the smallest packs.
